I'm worried sick about phone booths lately. I think they are disappearing. They have to leave a few around don't they? Can't let go of the good old phone booths. Mr. Google, rumor has it is going to put up red phone booths , free calling all over North America. What a generous man. Watch out for the Google Wave. It's got some interesting concepts . I'll list a few.
Real-time: In most instances, you can see what someone else is typing, character-by-character.
(is that really necessary)
Applications and Extensions: Just like a Facebook application or an iGoogle gadget, developers can build their own apps within waves. They can be anything from bots to complex real-time games.
(just like facebook, and more flippin games. Genius idiots)
Playback: You can playback any part of the wave to see what was said.
(spare me please)
Drag-and-drop file sharing: No attachments; just drag your file and drop it inside Google Wave and everyone will have access.
(REPEAT, everyone will have access!!!!)
Oh I can't go on about this new Google Wave Rave . I have to get going on learning the new
Terminology
wave, wavelet, blip, blipet, extensions, robots, wave embeds, tool, apps.
I think this line sums it up nicely.
" It’s also easy to add new waves. You just type in a message and drag friends into the box. It’s seriously as simple as that. " Seriously, if I find any of my friends (Contacts is the new term for friends) dragging me into the box I'll break their stupid robots neck.
