Mavis's Cabin

Mavis's Parents memorial plaque

Lake shore Cabins

There are 51 cabins on leased Timberwest properties scattered in several colonies along the
shores at the southerly half of the lake. The typical age of the cabins is between 50 and 75
years, with only two cabins that are less than 50 years old. The cabins are typically owned by Cumberland residents and used for an average of approximately 45 days per cabin/year.
The current lease agreement with Timberwest will expire in September 2011.
Went back to Mavis's Cabin yesterday. Looks a little overwhelming. So much work to do. I think my dream is squashed. I really wanted to see white lace curtains hanging in the windows. I'll continue to go back there for the dream of having a cabin on the lake. I want, I want so bad. The view is breathtaking from the main window with the white lace curtains blowing in the breeze. Can we make it happen....... pretty please with lace curtains on top!
